Financial classes at churches

Financial Peace University, the 13-week program taught by Dave Ramsey, which teaches families and individuals how to handle money through common-sense principles, will be held at:

Unity presents new programs

 

Unity Church of Overland Park, 10300 Antioch Road, Overland Park, presents “Honor the Earth Through Spiritual Nutrition” with Natalie George from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12.

Participants will learn how eating healthy impacts the environment and practical ways to incorporate healthy eating into your life.

The church also presents “Young @ Heart” art therapy with Patti Klinge from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13. Participants can unwind and leave their worries behind.

Church starts grief series

 

A new series of “Growing through Grief” sessions begin Wednesday, Jan. 13 and continue through Feb. 10 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, Prairie Village.
