Family Fun Night starts at 7 p.m. at Oak Park Library, 9500 Bluejacket, Overland Park. Storyteller Ryan Rosser uses words and music to awaken imagination and evoke heartfelt emotions and laughter. Johnson County Park and Recreation District offers a beginning guitar class for children age 7 to 15 at 8:30 a.m. Saturdays starting Jan. 9 at the Guitar Source, 11554 W. 95th St., Overland Park. Participants will jump as high as the tallest building, run as fast as the wind, crawl like spiders and save the world. Sunday, Jan. 10

Parents wanting to enhance their preschooler’s learning skills now have a new option – Spanish Technology Classes: Dora the Explorer and Tech Tots – offered through Leawood Parks and Recreation Department.
