Cantus male choir performs at Carlsen Center

The nine, male a cappella voices of Cantus perform “All is Calm: the Christmas Truce of 1914” at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, at Yardley Hall, Carlsen Center, Johnson County Community College, 12345 College Blvd., Overland Park.

Songs include “It’s a Long Way to Tipperary,” “Keep the Home Fires Burning,” “O Holy Night” and “Will Ye Go to Flanders?”

Robert Xidis, English professor, and George Thompson, Western Front Association regional chapter chair, will do a pre-concert talk at 7 p.m. For tickets, call 469-4445 or visit www.jccc.edu/TheSeries.
