Ongoing Each year Safehome, a domestic violence shelter, provides a Holiday Store, full of community donations, where clients can select holiday gifts for loved ones at no charge. In 2008, more than 650 women and children received gifts through the store. Safehome is now accepting new, unwrapped gifts for the store, which is open from 10 a.m. Dec. 3 through 8 p.m. Dec. 18. A moment of silence will be observed at 11:55 a.m., the time the bombing began.
