Johnson County Community College student Brijette Romstedt, Baldwin City, has been awarded the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships for study in Costa Rica. Romstedt has studied the Spanish language for several years and her goal is to become a translator. Romstedt has been on the Dean’s honor roll two semesters at JCCC. Only 3 percent of Gilman recipients come from community colleges.
