Riverside BBQ Blast Off

Join The Sun and the city of Riverside, Mo., on Saturday for the BBQ Blast Off at EH Young Park, next to the Argosy Casino. The free event features a Backyard BBQ Contest, live music from Brody Buster and other bands, and fireworks. The barbecue contest starts at 8 a.m., the first band takes the stage at 2:30 p.m., and the fireworks are at 9:30 p.m.

The Sun will be filming the BBQ Addicts, creators of the Bacon Explosion, at 2 p.m. for the first installment of the BBQ Addicts webisode, which will debut soon on www.sunpublications.com.
